Plácido Domingo, in his baritone tessitura, and Ermonela Jaho, one of the most revered sopranos by the Teatro Real audience, close the Madrid lyrical season in a concert version of Thäis, by Jules Massenet.

Patrick Fournillier will conduct the Chorus and Orchestra of the Teatro Real. He is an expert in the works by this French composer; and is the founder and musical director of the Festival Massenet of Saint-Étienne, the birthplace of Massenet.
